What can I do legally without getting charged?

My fiance and i had a fight in Jan. There was physical contact made, however when i made my statement to the police i was extremely pissed off, upset etc. and is possible some statement were exaggerations. Regardless, this was the first time there had been any problem like this in our relationship. He has never gotten violent, we had a good relationship were getting married and have an infant daughter together. He was wrong for what he did, and knows it, and has been sitting in jail since however we are going to do what is required on both sides and together to "fix" what needs fixed in our relationship in order to have our family and marriage that we wanted. sorry for the long story, but i am trying to get an answer to a question not comments on what a dirtbag he is etc. So my question is what is likely to happen (not what can, already know that) if i ignore the subpeona and dont go to court. I already know the judge has stated that if i am not there this time the charges are dropped. I want to know what they will probably do to me if anything. (we are in Kansas, Wyandotte county) I already know all the possibilities of what they can do to me. warrants, jail, etc. I am asking if anyone has experience with this and knows if they will actually charge me.
