How safe are LPG stoves, statistically?

Compared to what? LPG stoves are as safe as natural gas stoves if operated properly. They are essentially designed and make the same and have the same safety features. Any device with a flame and a fuel source have some potential for danger. There are far more people injured by automobiles than by stoves. More people die from the flu each year than from malfunctioning stoves.
