You can leave any time you want, uming you have the mental awareness to make that decision. if you want to leave against medical advice, they will make you sign a doent saying so. If (by some horrible cirstance) your child were to have serous medical issues because of your leaving against advice, you'd be liable and could be charged with neglect.
